MASON PEARSON Hair Brush

Would you rather have glossy, healthy hair or dry, dull hair? No doubt. No brainer. It's just declarable that all ladies in the world would rather have healthy, pretty hair. Not only ladies, but we'd bet men would rather have healthy scalp and hair than to look like someone who just survived from a bombing terror. Why not?

So to introduce a beauty tip for healthy hair and scalp. Why scalp? It's where hair grows out - maintaining healthy hair without healthy scalp can be said impossible. What produces strong hair that can fight against heat, radiation, dry weather, or cuticle damage in moist environment to stay healthy and good looking? Maintaining your scalp condition is just as important as maintaining your hair condition.

There are so many things you could do to condition your hair and scalp that it's pretty much common sense to use hair/scalp conditioners, head massage, hair lotion to protect from heat, and many more. So we'll talk about a beauty tip on one of the most simple hair conditioning technique: brushing.

We believe most of everyone have brushed their hair before and know that it's good for your hair, but not sure if everyone knows the effective way to brush hair. If you'll be doing the same thing, why not brush when it's most effective?

So here we go: brushing your hair before shampooing and conditioning is effective in conditioning your hair. That itself can be pretty much self-explanatory, but we'll go over the reasons.

First of all, pre-shampooing moments are when your hair and scalp consists tons of wastes, excess oil, and dirt compared to any other time of the day, just because it's been 24 hours since you showered in most cases. Brushing your hair before shampooing will facilitate the removal of these wastes from hair and scalp upon shampooing, which will minimize your hair damage and revitalize your scalp condition.

Secondly, brushing your hair before using a hair treatment (before shampooing can be still effective, too) will enable your hair to untangle; increased surface areas of your hair will be exposed to the treatment. Thus, your hair will be able to take in more nutrition from the hair treatment and will be conditioned well.

And finally, brushing your hair actually enhances the blood circulation on your scalp with massaging effect; it's enhanced even more when your head is soaked in warm water. Thus, your scalp has the most enhanced blood circulation when you brush your hair AND shampoo. Enhanced blood circulation will efficiently provide your scalp with more oxygen and remove waste materials within the scalp, creating a well-conditioned, healthy scalp that is able to produce strong, revitalized hair.

Although these facts are so convincing as they are, we'd like to make a note that brushing your hair too much can cause trouble; if you press your hairbrush too hard, your scalp may be damaged and if you give too many strokes of brushing on your hair it may become static and easily damaged. Brushing your hair before shampooing with strength and intensity just right to condition your hair everyday is the key to maintain healthy hair.

And last but not least, for those of you who can't figure the right strength and intensity to brush your hair...

We'd recommend you use a hairbrush from Mason Pearson!

These hand-made brushes from England use boar bristles that are carefully chosen from selected boar from Northern India. Some British call this a hairbrush version of Rolls-Royce; a little bit pricy, but once you have one it'll always be there for you and you'll never want to use any other hairbrush. Because it uses boar bristles, it does not get static and it's impossible for you to press the brush on your scalp too hard; it'll gently untangle your hair and massage your scalp with the just-right pressure.

loveable GLOVEABLES

How does aging actually SHOW?

Some of you may say it's the wrinkles, blemish, and other facial skin problems that actually makes you look like an aged person. Others may debate that dullness and dryness of hair stands out a lot as we age. It's pretty much opinionated - there's just so much to say about aging and we could blab forever about it.

Anyways, just to be convincing and straight to the point, we won't blab forever about aging but we'll just mention an easily forgetten anti-aging beauty tip. Yes, easily forgetten. But something as important as facial skin care and hair care.

I'm sure a lot of you have had the experience where, you're walking down a shopping mall and you see this lady, who doesn't look young enough to call a 'girl' but she has the prettiest, beautiful facial skin with her gorgeous, glossy hair. And you say, "hey, how did she manage to keep her neck-and-above so young and gorgeous?" and just a bit of shallow jealousy. And then suddenly you notice her hands are wrinkled like a Sequoia tree that's never experienced rain, and you realize she IS aged.

The point is, no matter how beautiful you can be above your neck, dry, wrinkled hands WILL reveal your age. Hand care is easily forgetten, but unforgettable!!

Yes, there are many things you could do to take care of your hands. You could simply put on hand lotion, hand cream, rosewater, and other moisturizers you can think of. Or for those who really care, hand masks and packs are recommended.

But why do our hands start to dry, anyways? There's just infinite number of reasons like, washing dishes, gardening, handwashing clothes with bleach, washing hand every time we use the bathroom (I'd assume natural oil secreted from skin gets washed down and make the skin drier), etc... Does hand lotion and masks really cure all those damages done daily to our hands...?

And finally to the beauty tip,

and to mention the easiest, fastest way to protect your hand from dishes...

Just wear a latex glove.

Yes, it's that simple.

Think about it: what can ever protect your hands more than latex gloves?

Well, for those of you who are boo-ing about how ugly latex gloves can be...

What about loveable latex gloves like these?

Stay adorable AND protect your hands!

GLOVEABLES Design Latex Gloves are available in various colors.

WHITE WASH from ISHIZAWA LABORATORY

As you all know, facial cleansing is an inevitable element in beautifying facial skin. Are we hearing the "duh!"'s?

Well how about this: doesn't it get a little pointless when we don't cleanse our faces improperly? Do our faces really get "cleansed" when we hastily rub the paste from the tube / cleansing lotion from the pump / any cleanser in our hands and scrub it all over our face and then splash water on our face?? How do we know? What IS the proper way to cleanse our face, anyways?

Well, some of you may already know that it's the merenge-shaped foam that truly penetrates your skin to capture all the waste materials under your dermal skin; you could actually create the foam by gently rubbing the cleanser into your palms and add some air and water by small increments.

OR for a faster way, you can also use a foaming net (could also be something like a bathcloth that makes tons of bubbles) to create the foam.

OR for the fastest way, you can use the WHITE WASH from ISHIZAWA LABORATORY...

Well from the flow of this entry, you could probably guess that this almost shaving-cream-looking can with a sticker of relaxing gal with mask of foam will actually create a foam for you... YOU will be the relaxing gal!

But the WHITE WASH doesn't just make your life easy by making the foam in less than a second... it also creates a foam that contains microbubbles that are impossible to create by hands! This will enable the foam to penetrate your skin even better and cleanse your face even deeper.

Is that it? No, the WHITE WASH actually contains skin conditioning ingredients such as hyarulonic acid, collagen, royal jelly essence, and honey to moisten, smoothen, and brighten your skin!

And... just look at the beautiful foam it creates!

Doesn't it make your facial skin crave for this soft whipped foam?

Now how much can you get out of a facial cleanser.
